Tooling for New Reel

My next reel design requires a number of new spacers, sleeves, and bushings to help hold parts on the lathe or on the mill’s rotary table.

I think that these are all that I will need, but I won’t know for sure until the prototypes are built.

It is a fixed spindle reel, so there is a front end ring rather than a front end plate. For the previous reel design, with a full front end plate, I could do finishing operations on the lathe while holding the part in a 4 jaw chuck. That isn’t going to work for the thin front end ring of this design. My strategy for this ring is to use piece of bar stock (3 x 3 x 3/16) and make the lugs first. Then I will bolt it to a custom faceplate (left rear) while cutting out the center. There are bolt holes rings of two diameters to deal with two reel sizes.
