I have fixed a few reels for friends by bending a pawl spring or making a new foot to fit a particular reel seat. But I am not a general purpose repairman because I do not have a stock of OEM replacement parts. Being a home shop machinist, it is possible that I could make a replacement part, but this might devalue your vintage reel. Better to find someone with OEM parts.
Foot replacement: If the foot does not fit a particular reel seat, I would need both the reel and the rod in order to make a fit. To initiate a foot replacement, send me photos of the present foot with attention to attachment hardware such as rivets and screws.
Pawls: I do not have the facilities for heat treating tool steel.
Drags: All my reels have been click type so I do not understand disk drags well enough to attempt any fixes.
